My boyfriend has had little contact with his 2 yr old son in the past year and his sons mother took him to the hospital for a bump on the head and they discovered that the child had two broken ribs. The child was taken into custody and was placed with an uncle. No one in her family but her brother could take him due to prior offenses with the law and drug addiction. We learned of this yesterday is there a way to start proceedings for his father to get and possibly keep him, and how?
