It won’t make it grow longer, and though it does make the hair feel softer and look shinier it isn’t doing anything besides coating the hair. I would get a conditioning mask from a professional line like Matrix or Aveda (cheaper brands usually don’t have a mask). I say this because professional products are hydrolized, meaning the molecules in it are small enough to penetrate the hair shaft and work from the inside, out. It will grow quickly if you get trims fairly often (every 6-8 weeks) because it will prevent split ends. If you get split ends and don’t cut them off- your hair won’t grow because it will keep splitting up the hair shaft. I hope this helps!
