Question by : What law (federal or state) says you can’t order prescription medicine abroad without a prescription?
If an individual in the state of Ohio wanted to order oxy cottin in India where the website doesn’t require a prescription, what laws prevent this type of transmission other then simple possession?
Are there actual federal or state laws that prevent this type of abuse or could this be covered under already existing state law?

There are also Federal laws about importing restricted substances into the country.

But don’t worry, it’s probably not oxycontin in the pills anyway.
