In Which States Would I Qualify for Medicinal Marijuana? ?

Question by risks_(with a pessimist): In which states would I qualify for medicinal marijuana? ?
I live in Michigan and while at my latest appointment with my psychiatrist who helps me with me sever anxiety, we were discussing proposal one passing in Michigan to allow for some medicinal marijuana to be used. He mentioned that if the law covered more types of patients to be covered, I would be a perfect candidate because I should be on Kolonopin, but I have an adverse reaction to it (I can not even speak or stand up while on it I get so tired and dizzy) so I am on xanex instead, which is not really the right thing for me at all, and it makes me throw up. But, in michigan only those with chronic illnesses, , or seizures get it. In which of the 13 states who have legalized medicinal marijuana would someone with extreme anxiety qualify? I know that california covers that, but where else?

Marijuana is a bad option for anxiety and will actually make anxiety worse. You will feel calm when you take it and for a little while afterwords but your anxiety will become more frequent and severe. Marijuana effects the GABA receptors and the brain which effect sleep and anxiety. It will cause you to have less of the GABA neurotransmitter. You should try some other options way before you try marijuana. There are antidepressants that can help like paxil, zoloft, luvox, and other meds like seroquel, risperdal. You should also consider therapy to help yourself learn effective ways to reduce anxiety besides drugs. I work in a rehab center and every person there to treat marijuana had anxiety and the marijuana only exacerbated it.
